International Travel Tip: Check Your Passport!
Always check the expiration status of your passport(s) well in advance of your trip to leave enough time in between in case you need to get a new one if your current one is expired.
The Mobile Passport does not count as your actual passport for travel. When traveling you will need to take your physical passport with you.
Cruising: Book Early!
It may sound crazy, but the best pricing you'll get for cruises (and other types of travel) is when you book early. Cruising has become so popular over the past couple of years that you almost have to book early, but not always.
When you book a cruise with your travel agent (like me) sometimes we can get you extra perks you otherwise wouldn't get access to if you booked it yourself. But it's never a guarantee as availability can vary.
For a Visit to Disney or Universal Studios: A Quick Tip on Baggage
You may be thinking when you hear "baggage" that I am going to talk about suitcases and leaving extra room for goodies you buy on your trip, which is a good idea, but not what I am thinking of for this at the moment.
When you visit the parks, ladies, a small cross body bage is fantastic for carrying your belongings and if you're a family a big backpack is ideal but needs to be able to fit in a locker if need be. Bonus if you get your kiddos a small backpack for them to "be in charge of" to feel a sense of independence.
