Tour of Swim Out Suite Room at Margaritaville Island Reserve Riviera Cancun

At the beginning of June this year, I had the pleasure of staying in a Swim out suite at the Margaritaville Riviera Cancun all-inclusive resort when my mom, sister, and I went there for a girls trip and early birthday celebration for our mom. I will be describing the room to you and my thoughts on it’s layout in this post.

Our room had two queen sized beds. We had access to a flat screen tv, a mini bar with a mini fridge and ice bucket and cups to make margaritas in our room or any other drinks. Instead of having the type of coffee maker you’d typically see in a hotel room, there was a nespresso machine. Waters were also in our mini fridge. There was a small circle table with two chairs in the corner of our room and two areas to hang and store clothes in. One of the closets had a safe in it as well, which we kept our passports in there for the duration of our stay.

The bathroom was a open bathroom concept if you will, and what I mean by that is everything was open without any doors to close except for the toilet area and the shower both has doors to them. Otherwise the bathroom was completely open. There were two sinks with small mirrors above them, as well as, one full length mirror you walk by just before you are where the beds are. The room had a door that went to a small patio that led you to the pool you can swim out into from your patio. They had a glass panel by the door that is not shown in my video that we came to find out was a child gate as this resort is family friendly. The AC unit was up on the wall and was controlled via a remote. The room was spacious enough for the three of us to share the room and we all had space to set our luggage, etc.

Reading your walkthrough of the Swim Out Suite took me straight back to the first time I stayed in a beachfront villa in Tulum a few years ago.
