Entertainment, Food, & Drink Offered with Southwest Airlines

Back in September I had the privilege of flying Southwest Airlines for the first time for a trip to visit family. While on my flights with them I really enjoyed the entertainment, food (snacks), and drinks they had to offer.
You will find attached to this post at the very bottom are images I took of one of their seatback menus for your convenience.
Their entertainment onboard was in a way nostalgic as the flights I had flown on did not have a seatback tv screen for passengers’ convenience of viewing shows, movies, etc. Instead, the watching of shows and movies was done directly in the Southwest Airlines mobile app. They had a good selection of movies and shows to choose from to enjoy during your flight.
Food offerings during my flights were mainly snack items such as chips, pretzels, granola bars, almonds, those types of things. I will admit I was skeptical about the Maui Monk Pretzels they offered onboard, but when I tried them, they were so good! If you fly with them, I highly recommend trying their Maui Monk pretzel snack!
Drinks were as you’d probably expect. Sodas, coffees, tea, water, juice, etc. Their selection of drinks was good and was nothing you wouldn’t really expect on a flight. The one thing that surprised me is that they did offer Dr. Pepper as a drink option which I don’t recall seeing on other airlines I have flown with previously.
With all of this being said, I hope you found it useful, and I hope it helps you know a bit more about what you can expect when flying with Southwest Airlines. I enjoyed my experience with them and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a more budget friendly airline for trips.
I look forward to seeing you in our next post and I hope you have a great rest of your day!
Best wishes,
Megan
